Jayna Thompson, Owner and Manager

Jayna is the owner and general manager of Alexis' Suitcase. Even from a very young age, she knew she wanted to own a clothing store. When friends would come over to play, Jayna would take out her adding machine and receipt paper and "ring them up". It was her favorite game! She grew up in Alpharetta, attending Milton High School.  She then attended Georgia Tech where she earned a B.S. in Business Management, graduating with highest honors. After college she went to work at her brother's e-commerce business learning the day to day techniques of running a business. After four years with his company, she decided to branch out on her own. Her mother, Jennifer Rice, quit her job as a property manager and spent the next 2 years devoted to helping Jayna get Alexis' Suitcase started. After her mother went back to work, Jayna was on her own and continued to grow Alexis' Suitcase. They started in a 1300 square foot store in Sandy Springs. Now Alexis' Suitcase has two 3000 square foot stores in Sandy Springs and Johns Creek. She is married her wonderful husband, Chad, and they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Brianna Grace, on January 1st, 2011. Jayna is so grateful her dream comes true and truly enjoys running Alexis' Suitcase.

Lyndsey Jackson, Store Manager - Sandy Springs location

Lyndsey grew up in New Orleans, the oldest in a family of four girls.  Her mother always dressed them alike, which could have been a factor in her love of fashion and dressing as an individual as an adult! She attends the Savannah College of Art & Design, studying fashion design.  While working her way through college she has been a sales lead and manager for other retailers, always excelling in customer service.  Truly a "people person", she always has a smile on her face and LOVES helping customers find that perfect something!  She works at the Sandy Springs store keeping everything running smoothly and, most importantly, customers leaving happy and coming back!

Lindsey Edmonds, Inventory Manager and Sales Associate

Lindsey has always been into fashion and attended Bauder College in Atlanta with a major in Fashion Merchandising.  After college she worked at Guess as a retail sales associate and interned at the Atlanta Apparel Mart. Lindsey began working at Alexis' Suitcase in March 2010 and excelled at assisting customers and selecting items for consignment.  Recently she was also promoted to Inventory Manager.  She is now responsible for pricing and authenticating a large portion of the inventory received daily at the store locations.  She travels between the Sandy Springs and Johns Creek locations to assist in inventory needs.  Dubbed by her fellow employees as "Snow White" because of her resemblance to the Disney character and her sunny personality, she is now found most days working behind the scenes, making sure your consignment items are entered quickly and accurately!

Lori Guy, Sales Associate

Lori grew up in Douglasville, GA and has always been a hardworking and dependable person.  She has worked some retail, including being assistant manager at a drug store, but also has experience in office management. The fashion and consignment industry has been a welcome opportunity for her to experience a new industry, and she quickly learned the ins and outs of the business.  Come into the Johns Creek store you'll see Lori's smiling face...always eager to lend a hand and only happy if you leave completely satisfied!

Nicolle Brooks, Sales Associate

Nicolle grew up as an "army brat", living in many different cities and countries throughout her childhood.  She takes that adaptable attitude to work every day, and is always ready and eager to learn something new or help with a new project.  Her detail oriented personality makes her a very valuable team member...she always makes sure our procedures are being carried out precisely right!  She's the one who pulls your unsold inventory, carefully tags and sort the incoming inventory, and does it all with a great attitude! She attends Georgia Highlands College while working full time, so you know she's hard working!  She loves fashion, especially cute tops and sky high heels!  She works mainly at the Sandy Springs location, but you can find her here and there in Johns Creek.

Tracinda Hackley, Sales Associate

Tracinda was born in Hawaii but grew up in Georgia, attending Georgia State University where she majored in journalism.  Soon after graduation, however, she went to work at the Gap and fell in love with the retail industry.  She worked at Gap for many years, learning the industry, and found she had a passion in particular for merchandising. She is responsible for most of the adorable displays at both stores, but works primarily in Johns Creek also helping with customer service and sorting through consignments.  She is also very talented at helping you find items that suit you, so make sure to ask her for some styling help when you stop by!
