Even from a very young age, Jayna knew she wanted to own a clothing store. When friends would come over to play, Jayna would take out her adding machine and receipt paper and "ring them up". It was her favorite game! She grew up in Alpharetta, attending Milton High School.  She then attended Georgia Tech where she earned a B.S. in Business Management, graduating with highest honors. She is married to her wonderful husband, Chad, and they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Brianna Grace, on January 1st, 2011. Jayna is so grateful her dream came true and truly enjoys running Alexis' Suitcase.

Carlye Derby Thompson, Shop Dog

Carlye was born on a farm in Bowden, GA.  She was the smallest of a household of more than 8 dogs.  She had many litters of puppies and was never spade.  When she was around 3 years old, she began getting bullied by the other dogs on the farm.  The family took her to the vet to get stitched up for the third time in as many months and decided they couldn't keep her.  The vet put her up for adoption on Petfinder.com.  Jayna was searching for a condo suitable pet and found Carlye.  She fell in love at first site!  When Jayna adopted Carlye she had heartworms and was skin and bones!  She is the most loving, amazing dog!  She is often at one of the shops when Jayna is there and would love to meet you!

Daniella Vega Boyso, General Manager

Daniella grew up in Duluth, GA and attended Duluth High School.  She is currently working toward her Masters in Social Work at Kennesaw State University.  She has been working at Alexis' Suitcase since October 2008.  From the beginning, she had a strong knowledge of brands and trends and quickly learned to accurately select and price consignment clothing items, including authenticating designer brands.  She managed the Johns Creek location for 3 years and now works as General Manager, assisting and managing all three locations.  She is known for her no nonsense attitude.  Don't let her small size fool you, this girl has serious heart!   She was recently married and lives with her husband in Dunwoody.

Caitlin Ruth, Buckhead Manager

Caitlin grew up in Eerie, Pennsylvania where she always loved fashion but was limited to the shopping that a small town had to offer.  After she graduated from high school she moved to Atlanta where she obtained a Fashion Merchandising degree from Bauder University.  She has experience in every aspect of retail including buying, customer service, merchandising, marketing, and much more!  She has a serious drive to make the store the best it can be.  We were thrilled to hire her to run our newest shop in the heart of Buckhead.  Make sure you stop by to check out the fruits of her labor!

Lori Guy, Johns Creek Manager

Lori grew up in Douglasville, GA and has always been a hardworking and dependable person.  She has worked some retail, including being assistant manager at a drug store, but also has experience in office management. The fashion and consignment industry has been a welcome opportunity for her to experience a new industry, and she quickly learned the ins and outs of the business.  She's been working for Alexis Suitcase since 2010 and is a true asset to our team.  Come into the Johns Creek store you'll see Lori's smiling face...always eager to lend a hand and only happy if you leave completely satisfied!

Nicolle Brooks, Sandy Springs Manager

Nicolle grew up as an "army brat", living in many different cities and countries throughout her childhood.  She takes that adaptable attitude to work every day, and is always ready and eager to learn something new or help with a new project.  Her detail oriented personality makes her a very valuable team member...she always makes sure our procedures are being carried out precisely right!  She' started as a sales associate and was promoted to Inventory Manager and eventually manager of the Sandy Springs location. She attends Georgia Perimeter while working full time, so you know she's hard working!  She loves fashion, especially cute tops and sky high heels! 

Anna Hawke, Sales Associate

Anna grew up in Alabama, attending Auburn University where she studied Apparel Design.  Soon she decided to pursue an even higher education and moved to New York to continue her studies at Parsons (yes, the Project Runway featured Parsons).  She's interned for some of the top names in the business, run a contemporary ladies' boutique for many years, served as a fashion buyer, and now designs her own avant-garde swimwear line called Hawke Couture.  This girl has serious fashion cred!  She's so unassuming and adorable in person, you'd never know her fierce resume.  Stop by Buckhead and get her to style you head to toe...you will NOT regret it!

Bianca Matallana, Sales Associate

Bianca, who happens to be Daniella's little sister,  is a high school student who works at the Johns Creek location.  She's so tiny a strong wind might blow her over, but her heart is so big!  Everyone she meets soon becomes like family and she has the work ethic of a team of grown men.  She is also an aspiring singer who you might just see pop up on American Idol or the Voice on day soon.  She's definitely an asset to our Johns Creek team!

Jackie is a recent graduate of SCAD where she studied Motion Media Design.  She also attended Brigham Young University studying BFA Illustration.  She has worked as a full-time missionary and with incarcerated youth, so you know this young woman has serious faith.  She is looking for her big break working in the television industry but in the meantime we are truly blessed with her photography and photo editing skills.  The gorgeous images of all of the designer bags, shoes, and clothes on our website are courtesy of her.  Playfully known as "My Homie" around the stores because of the pronunciation of her last name, she is truly a joy to work with!

Jackie Uselding, Sales Associate

Jackie is originally from Albany, GA and attended Georgia Southern Unversity where she earned a Fashion Merchandising degree with a minor in business.  She spent 3 years in Savannah where she managed a local consignment boutique.  When she wanted to move to Atlanta she wanted to stay in the consignment field because of her love of designer duds and one of her favorite designer brands is Missoni. She is the biggest jokester from the staff and keeps everyone laughing at work. She is a Jet-setter who loves to travel to random places at unexpected times. We are so blessed to have her trained eye and sharp wit to help serve you at our Buckhead location! 

Jennifer Fleischer, Buyer

Jennifer is originally from Chicago but has been living in Atlanta for many years.  She was a corporate buyer for a large chain of department stores for many years and then moved on to her second career of real estate.  When the market crashed, she went back to her first love of fashion.  She scours the Atlanta area for boutiques who may want to sell their overstock to Alexis' Suitcase.  She also loves playing tennis and, of course, shopping!  She lives with her husband and teenage son, Jordan.

Jessica is a graduate from West Virginia University with a degree in Fashion & Business. She has seven years of corporate retail experience and is glad to finally be with a company that allows her to give customers a more personal experience. She is great at visual merchandising and keeps the Sandy Springs store looking fabulous!  She's also the mastermind behind our Facebook and website Trend Alerts and Look for Less features.  She would love for you to come see her at the Sandy Springs location so she can style you from head to toe.  

Kasey Emmett, Sales Associate

Kasey grew up in Suwanee, attending Collins Hill High School.  She was an accomplished athlete, competing on both the Swim and Volleyball teams all 4 years.  She has worked as a swim coach for children and even as a nanny.  She then moved to Milledgeville to attend Georgia College and State University.  Developing a love of retail while working in college, she has really found her niche!  Her bubbly personality and flair for fashion make her a natural born sales person.  She just comes to life when she is helping you find what you need.  She works full time at Johns Creek, so pop in and enjoy her airy personality while she finds you a great outfit!

Megan works part-time at the Buckhead location in addition to her full-time job teaching Special Education.  She is so stylish without even trying and so sweet without making your teeth hurt.  Known as "The Ninja" because of her ability to complete tasks in half the time it takes anyone else, she is a definitely an MVP!  She has great skill at putting together merchandise displays and a great way with people.  Make sure to stop by Buckhead to say Hi!

Paola was born in Bolivia but moved to Charleston, SC when she was an infant. Bilingual in Spanish and English, she also speaks a third language...fashion! She is very knowledgeable on brands, trends, and the history of fashion.  One of the greatest pleasures of her job is researching the many designer pieces we consign and photographing them.  She manages our online shop, the eBay store, and our designer wish list!  She is the lady to know if you are on the  market for a specific designer item, so give her a shout today! 

Shevonda Robinson, Sales Associate

Shevonda grew up in Georgia and attended the University of West Georgia, studying Psychology.  She is still undecided whether to pursue a career in that field or follow her love of fashion.  In the meantime, she loves working at Alexis' Suitcase and running her small business on the side...custom made denim jackets!  These cool creations gives her entrepreneurial spirit an outlet and an extra source of income.  She always has a clear head on her shoulders and is forever learning and improving.  Come in and meet this cool as a cucumber character at the Sandy Springs and Johns Creeks locations...she works at both!

Tracinda Hackley, Sales Associate

Tracinda was born in Hawaii but grew up in Georgia, attending Georgia State University where she majored in journalism.  Soon after graduation, however, she went to work at the Gap and fell in love with the retail industry.  She worked at Gap for many years, learning the industry, and found she had a passion in particular for merchandising. She is responsible for most of the adorable displays at Johns Creek and also enjoys helping with customer service and sorting through consignments.  She is also very talented at helping you find items that suit you, so make sure to ask her for some styling help when you stop by!
